Here is a rare opportunity to truly experience Brown cinema at its best. Without a doubt, Brown University has produced some of the most talented minds in film, television, and entertainment. Please join us as we celebrate this wealth of alumni talent with a special screening event and cocktail reception.

Join us for food, wine, and amazing films. Great chance to network with alumni working in the entertainment industry or simply enjoy great cinema.

Alumni discussion panel in formation. Details follow shortly.

Previous events have featured award-winning filmmakers such as Liz Garbus (The Farm: Angola, USA), Bill Lichtenstein (West 47th Street), Robin Hessman (My Perestroika), and Richard Yelland (Floating: The Nathan Gocke Story). Likewise, these events have been attended by the likes of Doug Liman, acclaimed filmmaker (Bourne Identity), John Krasinski, film/television actor (The Office), Amir Bar Lev (The Tillman Story), Amy Gossels (casting director), and others in the industry. Many of the films selected have gone on to greater glory at prominent film festivals like Sundance, Cannes, and Tribeca while others have made their way to the small screen.

Please note that this event sold out last year. This year, we have moved to a larger venue to accommodate more attendees and a larger reception area for socializing and networking.
