Call for Submissions for the Third Annual Brown Media Group Film Festival

SUBMIT YOUR SHORT FILM DIRECTED BY, PRODUCED BY OR FEATURING A BROWN ALUM

Brown Media Group is thrilled to announce that we are accepting submissions for the 3rd Annual Brown Media Group Film Festival to be held this Spring. 

Venue restrictions due to COVID have compelled us to postpone the 3rd Annual Brown Media Group Film Festival until September in order to have a celebratory reception at the event.

Last year's festival was forced to go virtual but it was a stunning success. Not only were we held in rapture by nine amazing films from our talented Alumni but we were treated to an amazing conversation with Yoruba Richen '94 (The Sit In, The Killing of Breonna Taylor, The Green Book: Guide to Freedom) and our keynote speaker, Emmy and Tony Nominated actress Kate Burton '79. 

This coming year, we are optimistic for an in person event where we will build on the amazing success of the last two years and are excited to see the works of labor and love of our amazing Alumni spread across the world.

We are currently accepting scripted films, documentaries and animation shorts up to 20 minutes in duration. Each work must be either Alumni directed or produced or feature an Alum as a lead or supporting actor.  In order for your work to be considered you must mention the Alumni's role on your film. 

We look forward to seeing your new work and hopefully seeing you in person in the Spring!
