AFFILIATE EVENT: Free Screening of Girl Rising

Educate a Girl, Elevate a Nation

A special screening of the groundbreaking film Girl Rising

Please join The Brown University Alumni Club in New York for a unique evening celebrating the success
and upcoming CNN release of the documentary.

In a groundbreaking new format, Girl Rising celebrates the power of storytelling and pays tribute to the
triumphs of 9 brave girls who "rise" to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles to claim their right
to an education. It is the centerpiece of a global social action campaign to educate girls.

This film is a  joint production by CNN Films, Vulcan Productions, and The Documentary Group with the Intel Corporation as a strategic partner. The film features the voices of Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Liam Neeson, Cate Blanchette, Selena Gomez, and other A-list actors.

Please help us honor the incredible accomplishment of the filmmakers: Kayce Freed Jennings 80, Holly
Gordon 93, Christina Lowery 93, and the Girls 10x10 social action campaign with this exclusive film event
and inspiring panel.
