An Insider's Guide to the red-hot Lower East Side Gallery scene

The Lower East Side below Delancey Street, since 2005, has spawned a host of young, cutting edge micro-galleries whose presence is currently multiplying.

On November 9th, the first Brown Club LES Gallery Walk will be led by curator Karen E. Jones introducing members to a variety of leading LES gallery spaces. We’ll visit 4-5 locations, and at each destination, enjoy a private VIP walk-thru of the current exhibition with the gallerist or director followed by a Q & A with tour participants.

This insider's view is perfect for contemporary art enthusiasts, budding collectors and urbanists of all stripes. We will conclude the tour with a Brown VIP walk-thru at a top-tier international gallery.

The event will be capped by private brunch at the classic LES restaurant Freemans, an architect-designed, installation-inspired environment, within a unique dining area reserved for our group. This event will provide an immersion into the current LES visual cultural scene and the resultant transformation of urban space. This tour is limited to 11 participants.
