A ticket that’s so hot, duels have been fought over it
The new hip-hop infused musical "Hamilton", written by and starring Lin-Manuel Miranda, is coming to Broadway after an extended run at the Public Theatre that got rave reviews and left theater fans scrambling for tickets.
The Brown Club in NY has secured a block of tickets for its valued Brown Club in NY members.
Few shows have generated the kind of buzz that “Hamilton” created, and on Thursday, October 29 the Brown Club will be there to witness the excitement at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.
We've just added a new block of tickets in the front mezzanine at the discounted price of $139. Please note: All of our tickets must be sold before June 5. But don't wait another minute since these could be gone as quickly as you can say "Alexander Hamilton".
The current team for "Hamilton" includes two Brown alumni: producer Jill Furman and actor Daveed Diggs, one of the winners of this year's Annual Theatre World Awards for a debut performance on or off-Broadway. Here are excerpts from two of the many glowing reviews the show received during its off Broadway run:
"Hamilton is the most exciting and significant musical of the decade. Sensationally potent and theatrically vital, it is plugged straight into the wall socket of contemporary music. This show makes me feel hopeful for the future of musical theater." - Terry Teachout, The Wall Street Journal
"Hamilton is brewing up a revolution. This is a show that aims impossibly high and hits its target. It's probably not possible to top the adrenaline rush." - Ben Brantley, The New York Times
Tickets will be distributed by a Brown Club representative prior to the performance outside the theater lobby. Please do NOT go to the box office window.
