Please join us for a special one-night only performance by Brown's much-loved a cappella group, The Jabberwocks.  The group will be making their debut at the National Opera Center.
With the tremendous  popularity of television's Glee and films like Pitch Perfect, college singing groups have never been more popular.  Here is the perfect opportunity for alumni, family, and friends to hear one of the best singing groups on the college music scene.   Since their  founding, the Jabberwocks have been a launch pad for talented Brown alumni including  James Naughton (Chicago/City of Angels), David  Gockley (San Francisco Opera), Michael Weisman (The Glee Project), Andy Suzuki (Andy Suzuki & The Method),  Brian Cross (Snow Geese), and others.

Founded in 1949, the Jabberwocks is Brown University's oldest a cappella group.  Aside from regular appearances at Brown and college campuses nationwide, the Jabberwocks have performed for a wide variety of audiences. The group has sung everywhere from Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center to Shea Stadium and Steven Tyler's birthday party. The group also travels extensively – both domestically and internationally – to cities such as Chicago, Nashville, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Seoul and Hong Kong.

The Jabberwocks have received numerous awards, have had numerous tracks appear on the Best of Collegiate A Cappella (BOCA) albums , and have been honored in the Contemporary A Cappella Recording (CARA) awards. Recently, The Jabberwocks were thrilled to have been featured in Her Campus' article on "The Best Collegiate A Cappella Groups in the Country." The Jabberwocks release a new CD every two years, and our latest album, JABBERTALK, is available for purchase on iTunes.
