SOLD OUT: War Paint on Broadway

The Brown University Club in NY is excited to bring you one of this season's hot tickets on Broadway.

Beauty Is The Best Revenge

When: June 20. 2017 @ 7:00 pm

Where: Nederlander Theatre, 208 West 41st Street, NYC (between 7th & 8th Avenues)

Tickets: SOLD OUT

Two-time Tony Award-winning legends Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole join forces to portray the trailblazing cosmetic icons who built empires in a business world ruled by men.

From the creators of Grey Gardens and the director of Rent and Next to Normal, WAR PAINT tells the remarkable story of Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden—fierce rivals who defined 20th Century beauty. In creating an industry, they reinvented themselves and revolutionized how the world saw women.

“Brilliant, poignant, and superbly performed. A musical who beauty is far more than skin deep.”
– Chicago Sun-Times
“LuPone and Ebersole wrap their prodigious voices around a score by Scott Frankel and Michael Korie that rings with the kind of exhilaratingly brassy notes that match the chutzpah of their characters’ ambitions…War Paint is a welcome reminder of old-school Broadway craftsmanship”
– Washington Post
“Starring a deliciously paired Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole. Both are knockouts.”
– The New York Times
“A richly rewarding show…a double display of delicious diva-dom, with Patti LuPone as Rubinstein and Christine Ebersole as Arden expertly commanding the stage”
– Variety

Performance begins at 7pm. There WILL be a talkback discussion inside the theater following the performance; participants TBD.

Tickets will only be distributed by a Brown Club representative outside the theater on the day of the show (June 20) beginning at 6:15pm. Please do NOT go to the box office and please arrive no later than 6:45pm.
