After years honing her stable of beloved characters and alter-egos, Iris Bahr (“Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Hacks,” DAI) is bringing them all together for one night of comedy, song and crowd work.

Come join Rae Lynn, Svetlana, Shuli, Fiona and Shosh as Iris makes her 54 Below debut in EXODUS: AN UNHINGED CHARACTER CABARET. Embodying five different personas, Bahr takes us on a musical storytelling journey of breaking free from what holds you back, accompanied by the award-winning pianist and musical director Andrew Hertz.

iris-bahrIris Bahr '98 is an award-winning actor, writer, best-selling author, director and founder of Neurotica Fest, an arts festival, running Sept 10-13 in the East Village. Best known for her recurring role as Rachel Heinemann on Curb Your Enthusiasm (Ski lift episode, anyone?), Perla on Hacks, and her own series Svetlana, which she also directed for two seasons, and was executive produced by Mark Cuban.

Iris has written and performed six critically-acclaimed solo shows and has performed her work around the globe, including a command performance at the United Nations for over 100 ambassadors and delegates. Her memoirs Dork Whore and Machu My Picchu have been translated into numerous languages and are both in development as feature films. She is also the co-author of Book of Leon with JB Smoove.

She is the recipient of the Lucile Lortel Award, a two-time Drama Desk nominee, as well as a Helen Hayes award and UK stage award nominee. Most recently, she won the Frankie Storytelling award in Montreal for her newest show Stories from the Brink, and can be seen at Joe’s Pub on June 5th and at the Tribeca Film Festival in THE WEDDING ENTERTAINER alongside Elon Gold. Andy Hertz (Musical Direction) Andy is an award winning songwriter, music director and pianist. He has toured the country as John Lloyd Young’s music director (Jersey Boys), worked with the cast of Saturday Night Live, and been on faculty at Brown University, Montclair State University, and Hunter College.
