This is your midweek alumni study break—no readings, no outlines, just lyrics on a screen and a room full of Brunonians. Whether you sang a cappella on College Hill or strictly limited your career to shower solos, you’re invited. You do not need to be a Jabberwock, Chattertock or any other retired campus vocal royalty to come out and sing; this mic is for every Brown alum and friend who’s willing to take a swing at a chorus or at least clap on beat.
There is also a non-zero chance the Brown fight song will make a cameo, and we are expecting a significantly stronger lyric performance than we saw at the July picnic. Names may be gently noted, and informal “choral compliance” reports transmitted to the Brown mothership for possible annotation in your official alumni transcripts. In between “Brown Eyed Girl” moments and crowd-pleaser anthems, you’ll have happy hour pricing all night and a private lower room at Baby Grand LES that’s fully ours. The space caps at about 60, so grab your spot early before your only remaining speculative investment involves crypto instead of karaoke.
