Make war. Make peace. Make an afternoon of meeting up with
fellow Brown alumni at the Met. We'll learn about the art of Japan's
ancient Samurai warriors with our own private guide to lead us through
high-points of this exciting new exhibit. From specially-forged swords
to helmets, robes, and works of inspired art, the Metropolitan
displays the beauty of this lost tradition. We'll take a look at the
famous 12-century O-kanehira, the greatest sword blade in Japanese
history. Afterward, stop by the Metropolitan's celebrated Christmas
Tree with its 18th century Neapolitan creche, a holiday favorite.
