High Line and Gansevoort Historic District Walking Tour

Have you ever wondered where Oreo cookies came from or who was the Unsinkable Molly Brown? Come find out and enjoy the evening walking NYC?s urban oasis, the High Line.

The Tour: A walk above Chelsea to admire NYC’s first public park built on top of elevated railroad tracks. Walk along the old Meatpacking District; learn about its history before the nightclubs and retail boutiques, including the birthplace of the Oreo cookie, the (in)famous R&L restaurant, the Unsinkable Molly Brown, and old haunts of Alexander Hamilton and Herman Melville. We plan on ending the evening at the fabulous Brass Monkey, with drinks, so bring a friend and get ready for a perfect casual evening on the town!

Join us for fun, a bit of history, amazing architecture and socializing with fellow Brunonians on a perfect spring evening!
