BROWN ART SERIES: Art Reception at the Robert Mann Gallery
Feeling like the winter darkness has set in? Not so soon!
Brighten your night by joining fellow Brown Alumni for an evening enjoying inspiring art, bubbly and various nibbles. We will be taking the Brown Art Series to West Chelsea’s Robert Mann Gallery, best known for their installations of vintage masterworks and contemporary photography. On view tonight would be our very own Gail Halaban’s (Class of ’92) “Out of My Window” Series showcasing photographs of the New York we know today. David Vestal’s “Once Upon a Time in New York” will provide the perfect juxtaposition by featuring black and white photographs taken in New York between the 1940s and 1970s.
Gail will be joining us tonight to talk about her artwork and mingle with fellow alums. This will be the perfect opportunity for you to meet other like-minded art buffs or to be introduced to Chelsea’s vibrant art scene.
- Robert Mann Gallery is on 210 Eleventh Avenue (between 24/25th Street), located on the 10th Floor
- Reception will be on Thursday November 11th, from 6:30-9:00p
- Tickets are limited to a small group, and include two glasses of Stellina di Nottel Prosecco and various nibbles
